WHAT YOU SHOULD KNOW
_______________________________________________________

(IONM) Intraoperative Neurological Monitoring monitors neural structures during Spinal, Neurological, Vascular, or (ENT) Otolaryngology surgery. Free running (LIVE) data, stimulated triggered data, and averaged data is recorded throughout the surgical procedure to help alert the surgeon of any unexpected changes with the goal to prevent further damage to nerves, spinal cord and brain tissues. Several electrodes are placed on the scalp, neck, arms and legs to record the data.

No After Affects Are Felt As A Result Of The Monitoring.
